Chinese New Year

Home/Uncategorized/Chinese New Year

There was great excitement as we trimmed the dining room up for Chinese New Year. This year it is the year of the sheep/goat.( there is a 12 year cycle to the animal zodiac).  People born within this year are thought to possess characteristics as follows: Tasteful, crafty, warm, elegant, charming, intuitive, sensitive and calm. So if you or anyone else you know were born in 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003 you can see if these traits fit!

Having been busy making Chinese hats and place mats, there was only one thing left to complete our celebrations, EAT!!!

Every one sat down together for a Chinese Meal, prepared by Carole. we had a special waitress for the day Chloe, (Jenny’s god daughter). She was a great help and even volunteered to do the washing up, she can certainly visit again!
