Chick Fever!

Home/Uncategorized/Chick Fever!

We had some new additions to our family hare at Ealing House, when on Monday 12th January we welcomed some ‘Living Eggs’ to the home.

There was much excitement as we watched eagerly into the incubator waiting for the eggs to hatch!

Thursday evening we were delighted to witness the safe arrival of our first chick at 5:20 pm, this was followed closely by another at 7:50!

By the following morning there were 5 little chicks running around the hatching box!

Then one more little one arrived  Friday lunchtime.

It was lovely to listen to the buzz around the home, that these little chicks bought. Everyone starring into the brooder box and incubator to see what was happening.

Everyone enjoyed talking about, holding and taking part in chick related activities which went on. As you can see by the following photos, sorry to say once again they have downloaded in a random order so I hope you don’t mind!

They have all found a wonderful home, Thanks to Lauren who is going to have them at her home in Rollesby.
