We snatched the opportunity to go down to the river for a sneaky ice cream as the weather has been so wonderful. We chose Womack Staithe as their are some seats there and plenty going on, allowing us to people and boat watch whilst there.
When we arrived we were lucky enough to watch a fisherman land a fish. We also made a lovely fuss of a dog on board a boat. The views from the staithe are beautiful, and we really enjoyed the ice cream too.
Just where did the time go?
Before we knew it an hour and a half had gone and it time to head home. We’ll definitely be back.
