We decided that we should do something for the people of the Ukraine. The news has saddened us all immensely.
We knew that Tesco’s would be sending items that were ‘new’, to a centre in Poland. Items needed to be in store by 9th March, ready for their scheduled flight on 10th March.
So we asked people associated to Ealing House for donations.
We were so delighted with everyone’s generosity, and in fact ended up with all these things. Thank you. Thank you. Thankyou.
We also heard that Hugh Crane, (who we use for our cleaning products) were taking/collections of donated items to a different area in Poland. These being delivered by lorry.
We decided that we would split all of our things between the two.
These photos were taken when we delivered the items, along with our busy mornings sorting all the wonderful things people donated.
