Thrigby Hall

We managed to get to Thrigby Hall for our annual group visit where we saw all the animals despite the weathers best efforts to stop us!

With heavy rain turning into showers, it finally decided to cease at 10:30. We delayed our start to 11:30, and were pleased to have a party of 41 people gather together for the event in total.

The party included family, friends, staff and the children from Jenny and Sara’s childminding services.

There were a couple of showers before lunch. However these didn’t stop us enjoying the animals in fact everything seemed to be quite active moving about their enclosures.

Lunch was served in a marquee, where we all gathered together and enjoyed a picnic. These had been made to everyone’s preferences and had then been packed into tiger lunch boxes to match the occasion!

By 1 o’clock the sun was shining! It turned really warm, and found some of us hunting for spots in the shade from which to sit and watch the animals!

We saw the the snow leopards and monkeys being fed, some even stayed  for the tiger feed.

What a wonderful day we had.
