Scottish Reminiscence

Home/Uncategorized/Scottish Reminiscence

This weeks reminiscence session was on Scottish holidays.

Bob had been to Selkirk on his honeymoon, camping. Many had been to Edinburgh and on coach trips around Scotland. So there were many fond memories to share during the afternoon.

We had lots of Scottish goodies to try, including Haggis flavoured crisps, Selkirk  Bannock, Scottish tablet, fudge, shortbread and a selection of Tunnock’s. (The Scottish company that has been producing products since 1890!)

There was also a dram of Scotch whisky and Drambuie to wash all the goodies down.

Nobody volunteered to do any Scottish dancing! So we settled to look through some photos taken of some taken from a holiday album instead.

As ever the time went by very quickly with much conversation and laughter.

Thank you Karen.
