RSPB bird watch

Home/Uncategorized/RSPB bird watch

Every year we take part in the RSPB annual bird watch.

The week before we prepare some bird cakes, and make sure that the feeders are all topped up.

We also painted some bird boxes to go into the garden. Made some bird themed place mats, played bird bingo, and name that bird games too.

So lots of busy projects on the go, occupying our time.

Then we make sure the binoculars are to hand for the count. Counting takes place from various vantage points around the home and then our data is correlated.

Robins = 2

Sparrows = 4

Blue tits = 2

Blackbirds = 4

Pigeons = 6

Seagull = 2

Well done to everyone who took part both with the food making (that includes you Treacle!) along with our bird watchers.
