Norfolk Day

Home/Uncategorized/Norfolk Day

Today we celebrated Norfolk Day with a feast of Norfolk’s finest foods.

Cromer crab, Stiffkey cockles, Binham cheeses, and Norfolk shortcake were amongst the many locally sourced produce.

To wash it all down there were two different types of apple juice made from Norfolk apples, both of which were lovely and refreshing.

There was a basket of products from both Tacons and Meales farm shops for everyone to see and sample how fortunate we are to live in such a wonderful region.

For entertainment we had an array of Norfolk postcards, old photographs of Martham, and a wide range of books with information about Norfolk.

There was also a lunchtime quiz, testing our knowledge onNorfolk.

All in all a very enjoyable time as you see.
