We had a wonderful Norfolk Day celebration here at Ealing House.
The dining room was adorned with Norfolk flags and the tables laid for a special Norfolk picnic style lunch.
We had Cromer crab, Stiffkey cockles, Martham bakery breads, Binham blue cheeses (Mrs Temples). Salad from Tacon’s. Dessert was Norfolk shortcakes with strawberries and cream, and Ronaldo’s ice cream tasting.
All washed down with Nelson’s Blood which is a spiced rum!!!! (This certainly took some poeple by surprise!!!)

The Norfolk theme ran through the rest of the week with a Seaside reminiscence and a Norfolk/East Anglian quiz. all very enjoyable indeed.
