Along with the information pack that we have on dairy farming, we felt that it would be nice to go to a farm and get some fresh milk for a very fresh and tasty rice pudding.
We also had a quick recap on other products we get from milk, along with things you don’t realise milk is in.
Very interesting topic, you don’t realise how much milk we use.
We went to Upper Wood Farm to get our milk. it’s in Mautby and is well worth a visit.
We saw two of the herd being milked, and then we purchased the milk along with some butter, a dozen eggs and an impulse buy of a rich fruit cake!!
All in all a lovely visit.
