We had a variety of eggs to look at. This year we managed to get hold of a Rea’s egg. We couldn’t believe how heavy it was. We also had duck, chicken and quails eggs.
Even a couple of nests, a pigeons and what we think might be a blue tits.
We also thought this would be a good opportunity to hatch some eggs again. We had been asked if we could hatch out some quails eggs. The eggs were dotted so that we could have a turning rota and placed in the incubator. Now all we have to do is wait for 19 days to pass!! Fingers crossed we have some chicks!
