December Entertainment

Home/Uncategorized/December Entertainment

We saw a number of visitors to the home during December.

Firstly we were treated to a visit from the local school. Fifty children came along to spread some Christmas cheer by singing carols.

This was very much enjoyed by all, (bringing many a tear to our eyes)!

The children left with a chocolate penguin as a Thank you for their time and effort.

(Unfortunately we were not allowed to photograph the children, just the residents getting ready)

Jessica Todd

We were entertained by Jessica Todd (who is the mother of a baby that Jenny looks after). She is a wedding singer; and she kindly said she’d come along and sing a collection of ‘old’ and Christmas songs to get us in the Christmas mood.

All dressed up in her Mother Christmas outfit, she certainly brought some Christmas cheer into the home. She was accompanied by her little boy, Rainer  who also joined in all the fun, dancing along to the music. (He must take after his Mum!)
