Today we made blackberry jam and scones to have for our tea.

Both turned out really well. Very tasty indeed.

We had a ‘double yoke’ egg in the scones, which for some reason made us feel very excited to see!

The jam set beautifully, thanks to everyone’s expert advice on ‘setting’ points.

We’ve been discussing our next jam making session, talking about what comes into season. ( We think it will be plums!)
