This year it is the year of the dog in the Chinese calendar. We had hoped to go out for a meal but sadly the restaurant was closed until two days before which didn’t allow us enough time to plan the finer details of the trip!
It wasn’t the end of the world though as we had a superb meal at Ealing House, and were able to stay in the warm in the process!
We were able to decorate up with all our wonderful Chinese things. Everyone enjoyed sorting through the boxes and seeing first hand all the things we have.
The menu consisted of Prawn crackers to nibble on!
Starters: Prawn toast, Wantons, Spring Rolls.
Mains: Sweet and Sour Chicken, Lemon Chicken, Chow Mien, and Egg fried rice.
Dessert: Pineapple and Banana Fritters with Pineapple and Coconut sorbet.
Who needs to go out????
The following day the children came in with a dragon, and they paraded around the home for all to see.
