Norfolk Care Awards 2016

Home/Uncategorized/Norfolk Care Awards 2016

We are delighted to inform you of our recent success at the Norfolk Care Awards.

The event was held at Sprowston Manor Hotel. It is held annually to celebrate the great work

that takes place in adult social care across the whole of Norfolk. There is a nomination and verification process which is thorough and robust. Those who pass the verification visit and have been approved by a panel of experts are then invited along to the event.

Our first nomination was for ‘Effective end of life care’, the award is presented to an organisation which demonstrated that they provide the best possible, holistic, end of life care and support the individual and their families; for which we were runners up.

The second was for ‘Promoting dignity and respect in everyday life’; this award is presented to an organisation which is able to demonstrate that treating people with dignity and respect is one of their core values. The winner of this award will have also demonstrated that all workers and visitors are treated with dignity and respect too. We were delighted to receive runner up.

The awards were presented by Shaun Williamson (Barry from East Enders!)

WELL DONE TO ALL OUR AMAZING TEAM OF STAFF AT EALING HOUSE
