This reminiscence session was on Fads and fashions of the 1940 -1950's As you can see by the props we had a brilliant time with lots of fun and laughter. We talked about fashion, music, hoopla, makeup and much more. Bob you're a star, joining in the way you did.
We were approached by the Make Martham Sparkle team, to see if we would be interested in helping to make Martham sparkle with Christmas lights and help spread some Christmas cheer! Of course we were interested! Overnight the light came out and we were ready to GO!!! We were then told that ITV had got hold of the Martham story [...]
We went to India on one of our Armchair travels as it was Diwali. We spent time making some decorations and and preparing an Indian dessert. The tables were decorated for our Indian meal, and Christina came along to host a Special Indian themed quiz. all in all a lovely sociable day.
