We couldn't let October go bye with out holding an Octoberfest! The preparations began with the making of some Gluhwein (a mulled wine). Once that was bubbling away in the slow cooker, our attentions turned to preparing a black forest gateaux! We enjoyed an afternoon of Autumn reminiscence. Sharing thought on things which reminded us of the season. Colours, smells, harvest, the garden, birds, warmth. These were some of the many word which came forward to depict the season of Autumn.
