We got our seeds planted and gathered ideas together during gardening week. Terracotta pots were painted in readiness for the seedlings to be transplanted (we're a good few weeks off at the moment due to the harsh weather). We were able to enjoy some of the international celebration days which are held in April. We had Penguin Day, and Bat appreciation day in one week. Not too sure how much Treacle appreciated the bats, but she was happy to give them a close inspection. There was also Spring 'nest' activities.
We held a double celebration for The Queen's real birthday and St George's Day. As the two fall two days apart we decided to hold our event on the day in between. A street party was organised for lunch time, with preparations beginning earlier in the week, with a beautiful cake being made as one of the desserts. Sara brought [...]
