Today's session was on days out locally and trips to the seaside. Not everyone lived in Norfolk for their whole life so it was very interesting hearing about where they came from and places they enjoyed going. We had a wonderful Norfolk Day celebration here at Ealing House. The dining room was adorned with Norfolk flags and the tables laid for a special Norfolk picnic style lunch. We had Cromer crab, Stiffkey cockles, Martham bakery breads, Binham blue cheeses (Mrs Temples). Salad from Tacon's. Dessert was Norfolk shortcakes with strawberries and cream, and Ronaldo's ice cream tasting. [...]
