We had a lovely morning making some flower arrangements using glued together cups and saucers for the base. I think you will see how many clever ladies we have. The results were fabulous. They made a wonderful display for Mothering Sunday, and then became an arrangement to take to their room.
We decided that we would cheer up the village by making a spring flower display in time for Mother's Day weekend. Look at the finished flowers carefully created by residents and staff. Special Thanks to Jade who came in on her day off to lend a hand with the activity. We certainly have some very creative people amongst us.
There never seems to a week go by without a 'special' day. We've had British Wildlife day, Pig Day and Polar Bear Day all within a week. For these we get together and look through books on the subject together, and enjoy chats, quiz's and anything related to the topic. This is often a cuddly toy or some ornaments.
