We don't really celebrate bonfire night as we find it too cold to go outside. What I hear you gasp, something they don't do!!!!! Howeve,r we do have a bonfire themed day of food. With 'banger's and mash' and Parkin for lunch. then together we made the bonfire cake. Which I think you'll find pretty impressive. It tasted good too!
We held a themed Halloween quiz for residents and their family and friends. It was surprising how many facts there are for Halloween (also how little we knew!!!!) Other activities included flower arranging, and Halloween bingo. There was plenty of cooking to do with the residents taking part in making brain cakes, along with a pumpkin cheese cake.
We enjoyed a Diwali meal at Planet Spice, Ormesby. There was a party of 26 in total as we joined up with the children from Jenny and Sara's childminding services.
