Residents and staff had a busy day on Thursday 20th June as they took part in National Care Homes Open Day, an opportunity to strengthen links between care homes and the local community. We put on two events; there was a very well attended coffee morning where residents sold items created for the day, raising a record breaking amount towards the residents fund.
After a break to catch breath this was followed by a cheese and wine evening where residents and staff welcomed more visitors to look around. There was a great turnout and even the weather was kind, allowing the chance to show off the recently refurbished patio garden.
