General Practitioners

Most of the service users tend to register with the local GP’s based at Martham Healthcentre which is part of the Coastal Villages Practice. They undertake home visits for the service user.

Community Nurses

Ealing House has a good relationship with the community nurses who provide the nursing care for our service users.

Dentists

Dental care is provided within the home where possible but visits to the surgery are sometimes necessary.

Opticians

Regular eye checks and provision of prescriptions glasses are carried out normally in house, again visits to opticians may be necessary.

Chiropodist

Chiropody is performed by Robin Crawley who visits the home every six weeks.

Hairdressing

The hairdresser visits the home every Tuesday and Thursday where she offers a complete service from Wash & Blow-dry, Wash & Set, Perm, Cut or Colour.

There is also a hairdressers salon in the village if preferred.

Residents can invite their own hairdresser to use our facilities if required.

Church Service

Martham has Church of England, Methodist and Baptist churches and chapels in which to worship.
