FACILITIES / ACCOMMODATION

Ealing House is a ‘home from home’ with pleasantly decorated living areas.

The accommodation comprises of two spacious lounges from which to choose, both of which have televisions and videos.

There are plans to create a further ‘quiet’ sitting room.

There is a bright dining room where staff and residents dine together.
The dining room overlooks a well maintained and enclosed garden which is easily accessible to all residents whatever their mobility status.

There is a summer house where the residents can sit, also a greenhouse for
those who like to potter and have green fingers.
We are also experimenting with a small vegetable plot.

There are three toilets on the ground floor situated in different areas of the house.
We have two bathrooms (one on each floor) with a choice of hoists for those
needing assistance with bathing and personal hygiene.

We have a medical room where service users can see the their General Practitioner, Chiropodist, Optician, District Nurse or Dentist.

We have two hairdressers who visit the home, they offer a complete service.

It is also a room where a resident can go for a lay down if feeling unwell.

We have one shared and one single bedroom on he ground floor and two shared and three single bedrooms on the first floor.
All bedrooms have wash basins and are comfortably furnished but do not have ensuite facilities.
Arrangements can be made to bring own furniture if required.

Access to the first floor is via a stair climber chair lift.

Breakfast is generally served in your bedroom unless you prefer to come to the dining room. This is at a time you choose.

All other meals are service in the communal dining room unless you prefer to eat in your room.
