FACILITIES / ACCOMMODATION

Ealing House is a ‘home from home’ with pleasantly decorated living areas. There has been extensive refurbishments and improvements since 2006.

The accommodation comprises of two spacious lounges from which to choose, both of which have televisions.

In addition to these lounges there’s a ‘quiet lounge” with a fish tank and a ‘sun lounge’ overlooking the drive where you can relax.

There is a bright dining room where staff and residents dine together.

The dining room overlooks a well maintained and enclosed garden which is easily accessible to all residents whatever their mobility status.

There are two communal toilets on the ground floor.

We have two bathrooms (one on each floor) with a choice of hoists for those needing assistance with bathing and personal hygiene.

We have a medical room and also a treatment room/salon where service users can see the their General Practitioner, Chiropodist, Optician, District Nurse or Dentist.

We have two hairdressers who visit the home, they offer a complete service including wash and blow dry, set perm colouring and cutting.

This takes place in the purpose built salon.

We have six single bedrooms on he ground floor, seven single and two shared bedrooms on the first floor.

The majority of the bedrooms have ensuite wetrooms which contain showers toilets and wash basins.

Arrangements can be made to bring own furniture if required.

Bedrooms all have TV ariel points, digital ready.

There are also phone lines so you can have your own phone number with individual billing from Ealing House.

All doors are fitted with locks so you can lock your room when you are not in it. Staff hold master keys so they can access it for cleaning and maintenance.

Access to the first floor is via two staircases each fitted with stair climber chair lifts.

Breakfast is generally served in your bedroom unless you prefer to come to the dining room. This is at a time you choose.

All other meals are served in the communal dining room.
