ACTIVITIES

Ealing House has for many years been highly involved in promoting social activities for the service users. The aim is to encourage physical and mental stimulation and well being.

Betty Williamson delivered teaching sessions for other care homes as part of a course for Care Assistants, as she has always felt this to be an important area often overlooked.

Ealing House has a wide range of activities to suit all the tastes and abilities of the service users.

Day Trips

We like to organise trips out to places of local interest which have included Wroxham Barns.

Games

We have various board games and large format floor games to be played on the floor.

Quizzes

We have various word games, general knowledge and picture quizzes. There are regularly quizzes devised by staff die. naming flowers or famous faces.

Gardening

Ealing House has a enclosed and secure garden, allowing service users to safely stroll in the garden.

We have a green house, raised flower bed and small vegetable plot for the 'green-fingered' service user.

Singing

There are large format song books and musical instruments for a sing along.
Various videos for those that enjoy their singing.

Exercise

We have various activities that encourage movement and exercise such as Parachute game, cycle pedals and soon to be added is “Seated Exercise”
